The Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’oba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), has urged residents in his council to participate fully in the ongoing Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Aroyewun, speaking in a video, charged those that are yet to register for their PVC and others whose cards are needing upgrading to take advantage of the exercise.

PVC online pre – registration starts August 18, and interested residents can do that on http://www.cvr.inecnigeria.org, while the in person registration starts August 25th .
The registration will take place across the 37 INEC state offices and 774 Local Government Areas in the country.
“My dear people of Igbogbo Baiyeku, today marks another important step in shaping the future of our community as the Independent National Electoral Commission commences the registration and update of the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

“This exercise is not just a routine; it is the key to securing your voice and your power in the decisions that affect us all.
“I encourage every eligible resident, young and old to take this opportunity seriously. Register if you have not done so, update your information if necessary, and ensure your PVC is safe and ready. It is with this card that we can all stand as proud stakeholders in the progress and development of our land,” he charged.
He emphasised to Igbogbo/Baiyeku residents of the importance of registering to get their PVCs.
“Let us remind ourselves that good governance begins with active participation. Your PVC is your strength, and together, when we all play our part, Igbogbo/Baiyeku will continue to rise.
“I look forward to seeing our people come out in great numbers, united by hope, driven by responsibility, and committed to a brighter tomorrow.”
